Daily Activity (English)

Tuesday 13 February 2018, as usual practice on campus, begins with one line in front of kitchen, before practice begins. Me and my friends came at 6.30 am, started checking the kitchen, take out our bread that made yesterday from the chiller, to be stored in showcase warm. our incharge senior do attendance while checking our gear, grooming and cleanliness.

In the kitchen, we went back for one line then got a little direction from Chef Aldino in preparing breakfast for open restaurant at 10.00 am. After getting directions from Chef Aldino, we all go to our own section to prepare tools and materials. For this day, me and my group get the juice part. Juice that we make today is "Watermelon Juice".

The juice is made from:
- Watermelon
- Simple Syrup

At 10:00 am, it's time for open resto. Not long after the open resto, the first order came in for juice, and there are 20 glasses at once. In the juice section, we were instantly surprised that we get the order as much as 20 glasses. But there is no problem, everything can be handled well. The problem at the time was the garnish in the juice glass of the lemon slice, the lemon slice on the glass always wanted to fall, but the problem did not last long and could be resolve quickly.

At 11:00 am close order, so we do not accept orders anymore from the restaurant. After the close order, at the request of Chef Aldino, we all do General Cleaning in the area of main kitchen. After doing General Cleaning, we all prepare Breakfast menu for tomorrow on Wednesday 14 February 2018 which is themed English Breakfast, consisting of Muffin, English Muffin, Oatmeal, Fruit Compote. Me and my group got the Fruit Compote.

Fruit Compote is made from:
- Grape
- Papaya
- Apple
- Pineapple
- Simple Syrup


Simple syrup for Fruit Compote is made from:
- Sugar
- Water
- Lemon
- Cinnamon Stick
- Cloves













For the Fruit Compote, all fruits other than Grape, cut into Macedoine. Then, put the pot on the stove, then heat the Water, after boiling water, add the mixture of sugar, lemon, cinnamon stick and cloves, then in "Simmering" for about 30 minutes. after that Fruit Compote was poured into the bowl, rest until the temperature of fruit compote is not hot anymore. then covered with plastic wrap to be stored in the Chiller.

After each group finished with the preparation, we all went back to General Cleaning, then we return to our homes. So i think thats all for blog today.
