Daily Activity (English)

On Monday April 9th, 2018, today is the first day of practice after mid-semester. We started studying the new menu which is the rotation menu no. 2, which is Asian cuisine. The menu we created today is menu 2.4 which consists of:


APPETIZER

Okonomiyaki

SOUP

Miso Soup

MAIN COURSE

Sushi

DESSERT

Dorayaki




Today our group got a task to make Okonomiyaki. Okonomiyaki is made from:



For the Batter:
Whole egg, Flour, Baking Powder, Salt and Pepper to taste



For the Filling:
shredded cabbage, leek (sliced) 



For the Topping:
Mayonnaise, Tonkatsu sauce, Aonori



Today we are just preparing only the filling, shredded cabbage and thinly sliced leek. After that we continue to make mayonnaise. Then everything is stored into the chiller. For the batter will be made on tomorrow, because according to Chef Dino, batter should be made tomorrow because if made today batter will be broke and change color.

After preparing the ingredients for tomorrow, we continue to do general cleaning. Chef Dino gives the rule that we all have to do the job quickly and accurately, so we all have to finish doing the activity in the kitchen at exactly 3 pm. After finished the General Cleaning. Chef Dino took us all into the class to go to a movie called Burnt. We finished the movie, then we went to see Chef Dino teaches how to cut Baby Octopus for Sushi tomorrow. After that we one line, pray together and return to our home.
