Daily Activity (English)
Monday June 4, 2018, today is the final practice exam. Our group gets the Rotation 2.4 menu which consists of:
Appetizer
Okonomiyaki
Soup
Miso Soup
Main Course
Sushi
-Hoshomaki
-Gunkan
-Nigiri
-Temaki
Dessert
Dorayaki
I got the part to make Miso Soup. First I make Stock, which is made from Water and Katsuobushi. Boil water, then turn off the heat and enter Katsuobushi. After Katsuobushi sank to the bottom of Stock Pot, separate Katuobushi with Stock. After Stock is done, just added sliced Crabstick, Sliced Scallion, Tofu and Fishball. For the seasoning, add Dashinomoto, Mirin, and Miso Paste.

After finished making stock for Miso Soup then i go to Sushi Section to help other friends. In Sushi Section I helped slice the salmon for Nigiri Sushi. To make Nigiri Sushi, the rice is clenched by hand until it is oval, then apply a wasabi over the rice, add salmon that has been slice over the rice, apply a mayonnaise and then burn it using a torch.

After 4 kinds of Sushi has been made, Mr. Ical teaches us how to string Sushi Platter. Sushi Platter is arranged to form a color gradient, ranging from pale color to lighter colors.
