          3 kilometers south of Losari Beach, there is a familiar night market called Senggol Market. Actually the official name of this traditional night market is the Sambung Jawa market, but due to the crowds and density at night, fellow market visitors often bump into each other, until finally this market is more often called the Senggol Market.

          Many people of Makassar choose Senggol Market as a complete shopping place and are cheap, starting from the types of groceries and clothes that cost far less than the shop price. For example, women's clothing sold below the price of Rp. 20,000 / piece or some types of pet animals are also offered at the Senggol Market.
